BUCKHANNON — Buckhannon’s new and booming Studio 7 Sun and Salon welcomes a licensed massage therapist (LMT) to the team.
Kelly Spencer, owner of Studio 7, and her team are proud to introduce Brianna Lowther LMT, of Weston, to the studio. Lowther is currently building a client list and looking forward to expanding her talents through the practice.
Lowther, a 2014 graduate of Lewis County High School, chose to further her education at the Clarksburg Beauty Academy (CBA). A general program usually extends over two years; however, the CBA combines the lessons to form a six-month course. This made it possible for Lowther to graduate in July of 2021. After graduating, Lowther took the licensing exams in August, passing and making her an official LMT.
Since obtaining her license, Lowther has been traveling and offering services out of her home. Today, Lowther has built an impressive client list, but does not want to stop there. Also since graduating, Lowther has been able to perform almost all of the services she was taught. Some of those services include Swedish massage, deep tissue massage and even the ability to create a personalized massage package, designed to meet specific needs.
“It feels so rewarding to be here. It feels like I am succeeding. When I was going to school, I had really big dreams. Things happen and those things change,” said Lowther. “As soon as I began setting up here, I couldn’t help but smile because I felt like I was home; this is where I belong.”
Lowther began accepting clients at Studio 7 on Monday, December 20. Even though her addition is new, other staff members are already so excited to have their LMT on board.
“We are super excited to have her. Everyone has been asking and asking about getting this service. She (Lowther) is the perfect fit,” said Spencer. “We want to be the one stop shop for all of Buckhannon’s beauty needs and this is just one more amazing thing that we can offer.”
